What is an "In-Cup"? An "In-Cup" or "Opercule" is a cup which contains a dried drink powder (such as tea or coffee) which is sealed into the bottom of it by means of a foil or membrane. This allows the tea or coffee to remain fresh while in storage. By removing the foil or membrane and adding water, a hot drink can then be made. As the drink powder is sealed in the bottom of the cup this then allows the cups to be conveniently stacked, so saving space.
Each branded "In-Cup" comes with all the required nutritional and allergy information printed on it. Bar coding is also a feature for those that use electronic point of sales. Best Before End and date of manufacture are clearly printed on the base of each cup. Our "In-Cup" range are manufactured in 12oz (355ml) cups to give a 10oz (284ml) fill
